I'm Jessica Leyre Saab, an early career urban planner

I currently work in the bike-share industry in NYC. I want to ensure urban communities have access to effective public transportation, resources, and opportunities, focusing on those worst affected by previous poor planning decisions.

I have experience managing operations, community outreach, communications, research and policy analysis, and design. I am pursuing a Master’s in Urban Planning with a focus on data analytics to learn to better pinpoint effective solutions and convey compelling information.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the city, doing textile crafts, tending to plants, and learning new skills. Before moving to NYC, I grew up moving every three years with the U.S. military. I'm a proud first-generation Latina of Venezuelan, Lebanese, and Basque descent.
