Community organizing in Bushwick and beyond

From June 2018 through present day

As a non-native New Yorker, I understand the privilege of my socioeconomic position and seek to reduce the harm my presence induces upon my neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn, by being actively involved with the local community, being intentional about supporting nearby businesses, and being a mindful neighbor. I’ve been able to get to know my neighbors over the years and learn more from them about Bushwick’s rich history and culture. I work with local groups to help them expand, formalize processes, and better serve their constituents with my skills in administration, communication, and design.
